Magical Nights, founded in 1996, was started in Catonsville, MD by Chris Gotsch, when he began DJing for several private parties and a Baltimore County School System dance program called "Middle School Madness". In the spring of 1998, Mark Golob joined the company, which improved performance quality by adding a second DJ to many of the events Magical Nights participated in. After this our company grew at an exponential rate, and still is in the present.

In June of 1999, Magical Nights relocated to Ellicott City, MD, and in September of 1999, Mark Golob's position was filled by Chris Gotsch's younger brother, Andy Gotsch. Mark moved on to buy his own equipment and operate Sonic Evolution.

In October of 2002, Magical Nights bought out Sonic Evolution's mobile DJ division, adding more equipment to our collection, allowing us to easily service multiple gigs at once.
